The family-run Heaton House Farm wedding venue offers a beautiful countryside venue with views of three counties.

The Heath family history dates back over seven generations, and they have held weddings within the farm for over 25 years. Situated close to Manchester and a short hop to the centre of Macclesfield, making travel by train and car exceptionally easy for your wedding guests.

Situated on a working farm, Heaton House Farm’s wedding venue doesn’t disappoint. The Heath family and their award-winning event coordinators care wonderfully for couples choosing to marry here. Their purpose-built preparation rooms, multiple stunning wedding ceremony venues and onsite accommodations nestled in picture-perfect grounds make my job as a wedding photographer wonderful.

The happy couple can choose whether to hold their ceremony in one of five uniquely featured settings for their special day. Whether you are looking for a large or show-stopping ceremony or an intimate smaller gathering, the five ceremony locations offer indoor and outdoor settings you can personalise to make your day truly unique and special.

You will exclusively use the wedding venue for yourself and up to 350 guests (or as few as ten). With overnight accommodation in 15 onsite bedrooms, over 40 guests can share your party without travel worries. Of course, the venue is also conveniently located for nearby hotels and B&Bs, so guests have many choices for pre- and post-wedding stays.

Lee was absolutely great since day 1!
We met at a wedding suppliers showcase early in 2019; he was very easy to talk to and we fell in love with his style of photos straight away. After 2 date changes and 3 years later we’re finally married and have the most incredible photos of the day thanks to Lee!
Lee was professional and personable throughout all the stressful changes, and we took him up on his offer of a pre-wedding shoot. So glad we did as we got some fantastic shots of the 2 of us and our pup and gave us more of an insight to his photography style and the way he shoots which got us even more excited for the big day.
On the day, again, Lee was great – even helping us with our ties, cufflinks, and buttonholes so we could keep the drinks flowing! On the day, in the nicest possible way, Lee just melted into the background and captured every moment perfectly.
We’ve got incredible moments captured from beautiful family photos right through to hilarious photos from the dance floor. There wasn’t a moment of our day that wasn’t captured beautifully and trying to whittle down the photographs for our storybook took a good couple of days!

This venue is one of the most genuinely versatile I have the pleasure of being able to enjoy with my wedding photography services in Cheshire. You can arrive by horse-drawn carriage, helicopter or vintage car and be greeted by the stunning scenery. As an accomplished wedding photographer in the Cheshire area, I am delighted to say that this venue gives a choice of five locations, accommodating up to 350 guests. AFTER YOUR CEREMONY

After the ceremony, you again have the opportunity to choose what comes next. I will be there with my camera, and as a couple, you can choose whether to share a glass of champagne with your guests before we capture some group photos of the day or whether you want wedding photos taken straightaway.

The flexibility this venue offers couples to have the day of their dreams can not be beaten, and as your Heaton House wedding photographer, we will have had a pre-wedding chat about how you want your memories captured. I like to have a short twenty minutes alone with the happy couple as we explore the grounds and take some truly unique and magical lasting photographic memories. I can capture the fun, the romantic and the unique opportunities within the farm grounds.

Our time away also allows the couple to relax and reflect on the day so far before heading back to mingle with their guests and begin their wedding breakfast. Photos by the lake and the picturesque railings, the secret door to private water gardens with cascading waterfalls and romantic lily ponds, stunning rockery, private gardens, and the iconic Sycamore tree offer some fantastic photo opportunities.

The stunning indoor wedding venues are a blank canvas for you to design. There is no limit to how this venue and its excellent wedding team can make your dreams come true. As a photographer, I love seeing the creative ways that my wedding couples use this venue for the wedding of their dreams, and I can’t fault the fabulous suppliers that they recommend too.

When it comes to photos, I know that the best images happen when everyone is relaxed, so as well as any set posed photos you want, I seek to capture the natural joy and happiness of everyone. Those little looks between bride and groom that you think you are the only one to see, the fun of the children enjoying your day and your guests as they mingle and share in your joy. 

I take the formal wedding photographs before the wedding breakfast wherever possible, and we can discuss any particular requirements for the group shot must-haves, so everyone in attendance is captured on camera to make memories that will last you forever. Once you are back with your wedding guests, you will head off to eat, and I will take a short break.

The Sycamore Tree – this stunning tree is iconic and provides the perfect backdrop to a whole host of wedding photographs.

The outdoor festooned lighting in the evening – is breathtaking and gives a different perspective to photos.

The lake and gently flowing waterfall is perfect for some unique images.

Besides the rustic barn doors in the courtyard is the perfect spot for both pre and post-wedding shots.

YOUR WEDDING BREAKFAST

Heaton House Farm is a venue where food for your wedding can be as straightforward or stunning as you wish. Whether you are looking for table service three-course meals, buffets, or amazing food stalls, the catering style is up to you. The incredible in-house team, Stable Yard Catering, can provide an exquisite dinner.

You head to the Steeles Barn for your wedding feast, a venue that perfectly fits whatever style you choose—making your wedding breakfast a truly wonderful first meal for a married couple.

Once you finish eating, I will be there to photograph the speeches and cake cutting, or for those serving their wedding cake as dessert, these particular wedding photos can be taken before you eat. I stop taking photos during the meal as these pictures are rarely flattering, and unless you insist, I find them best avoided! Just let me know as part of our pre-wedding chat.

The sunset and early evening at this venue offer the perfect opportunity for me to sneak the newly married couple away again for just a few minutes to capture some extra special wedding photos at Heaton House that nightfall in this beautiful setting offers.

Then it’s time to completely relax and head onto the dancefloor for the last few hours of your wedding day. The dancefloor has plenty of room for everyone, and there is relaxed seating and a bar area for those seeking refreshments. If you wish to offer evening food, then options are available.
