The Bride and Groom’s Attire
Elizabeth looked breathtaking in a gown by Essence of Australia, sourced from Bellissima Brides. The dress featured delicate lace details and a flowing silhouette that captured the soft, romantic mood of the day. Paired with a veil that trailed effortlessly behind her, Elizabeth’s look was timeless and elegant.
Otta, equally dashing, wore a perfectly tailored suit from Whitfield & Ward. His classic yet modern ensemble complemented the light, airy aesthetic of the wedding. Together, they made a striking couple, embodying grace and sophistication.
Floral Elegance by Lily’s Flower House
No spring wedding is complete without an abundance of flowers, and Lily’s Flower House exceeded expectations. The floral arrangements, featuring white and pink roses, adorned every corner of the St Andrews Suite and the reception area. The soft hues of pink and white roses symbolised love and purity, perfectly reflecting Elizabeth and Otta’s journey.
From Elizabeth’s bouquet to the floral arch framing the altar, every detail was meticulously crafted to enhance the beauty of the venue and the spirit of the season.
The Ceremony – Music and Romance
The ceremony was a beautiful blend of love and music. The Didsbury String Quartet provided elegant live music, creating a romantic atmosphere as guests gathered. Their performance added a timeless touch, and as Elizabeth walked down the aisle, the delicate strings resonated through the room, heightening the emotion of the moment.
Adding to the musical experience, Liz Hendry played the piano during the reception, filling the hall with soft melodies that complemented the joyous mood of the day. Her performance was a highlight, setting the tone for an elegant and heartfelt celebration.
A Stunning Reception
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a beautifully decorated reception, thanks to Lasting Memories, the venue dressers. The space was transformed into a floral wonderland, with soft drapes, fairy lights, and elegant table settings that mirrored the springtime theme.
The wedding cake, crafted by Natalie Cake Studio, was a showstopper. A three-tiered masterpiece decorated with sugar roses and intricate detailing, it was almost too beautiful to cut – but far too delicious not to enjoy!
Dance and Celebration
As evening fell, the celebration continued with lively entertainment by DJ Cory Verses. His playlist had everyone on their feet, dancing the night away beneath twinkling lights. From classic hits to modern favourites, Cory’s setlist kept the energy high, ensuring guests had as much fun as the couple.
Elizabeth and Otta’s first dance was a moment of pure magic, as they swayed to a romantic tune, surrounded by the love and support of their closest friends and family.
