Swettenham Arms Wedding Photography – Emily and Matt’s Christmas-Themed Wedding in Cheshire

There’s something undeniably magical about a winter wedding, and Emily and Matt’s Christmas-themed celebration in Cheshire was a beautiful blend of seasonal charm and timeless elegance. On a chilly and overcast, yet dry December day, the couple exchanged a blessing vow at St Peter’s Church before celebrating with family and friends at The Swettenham Arms – a venue renowned for its cozy, rustic atmosphere that perfectly complements the festive season.

A Festive Start at St Peter’s Church

St Peter’s Church’s historic architecture and warm interiors provided the ideal setting for Emily and Matt’s blessing. The overcast sky and cool air added to the wintery atmosphere, but inside the church, it was all warmth and light. White roses from Country Flowers adorned the pews and altar, adding a crisp, elegant touch reminiscent of freshly fallen snow. The fragrance of the roses combined with soft candlelight created an intimate and romantic ambiance that perfectly reflected the couple’s love for each other.

Emily arrived at the church looking radiant in her gown from SAS Bridal in Stockport. The dress, with its delicate details and flowing train, exuded classic winter elegance. Lucinka Hodnett was the talented make-up artist behind Emily’s bridal look.

Matt, waiting at the altar, looked suave in a perfectly tailored tuxedo by Hugo Boss. His classic black tuxedo with a crisp white shirt and bow tie added to the timeless sophistication of the occasion.
