Rudding Park Wedding Photography
It was my first visit to the amazing Rudding Park for the wedding of Charlotte and Mike and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The weather on the drive up to North Yorkshire was beautiful and we were treated to a properly hot summer’s day.
The couple had decided to both stay at the hotel the night before so I was lucky enough to spend some time when them both on the morning of the wedding. They were surrounded by a great bunch of people who made sure they enjoyed themselves and created a really fun but relaxed atmosphere.
Ceremony In The Chapel
Rudding Park has an amazing gothic chapel within its grounds, so the couple decided to have their wedding there. They brought in their own celebrant to perform their non-religious ceremony, it also provided a cool sanctuary from the summer sun. Emotions were running high but once the couple was at the top of the aisle together, any worries simply melted away. After saying their vows and walking joyfully back up the aisle as man and wife, they exited the chapel into a flurry of confetti and enjoyed congratulatory hugs from their guests.
An Afternoon In The Sun At Rudding Park
Charlotte and Mike then spent a fantastic afternoon with their guests and enjoying cool drinks in the summer heat. Their wedding host Howard Wing welcomed the couple into their wedding breakfast before entertaining the guests with songs and delighting the guests with a bit of audience participation. After a delicious meal and a round of speeches, the guests relaxed in the shade of the evening sunshine before the party began.
Party In The Radcliffe Room
The guests enjoyed more entertainment from Howard before taking to the floor for their first dance with a spectacular confetti canon ending. Their family and friends then joined them on the dancefloor for the rest of the evening before gathering outside for a sparkler exit.
So huge congratulations to Charlotte and Mike, I had amazing fun with you all as your Rudding Park Wedding Photographer.
