It’s a great feeling when everything goes perfectly when shooting a wedding. Kerry & Simon and their Peak Edge Hotel wedding photography was very much one of those days!
Driving through the very foggy countryside, I arrived with Kerry. She was in Heath Suite with her bridesmaids, relaxing and excitedly preparing herself for the day ahead. After capturing the details of her dress, shoes, flowers and accessories, I stepped back and simply watched what was going on. Once everyone was ready, we paused for some portraits before the formalities of their day began.

After an amazing ceremony, filled with a little emotion and laughter, Kerry & Simon completed the formal part of their day before strolling into the bar area to enjoy their drinks reception and lots of hugs and kisses. The couple then ventured outside into a flurry of confetti, joined their family for some formal groups then we captured a few portraits before dinner.
Once everyone was seating, the couple were welcomed into their wedding breakfast and sat to eat their delicious meal. I returned to the party as everyone was lounging, chatting and enjoying each others company. They were then treated to a round of speeches before their evening guests arrived.
Witch Tripper Wedding Band
It was soon time for their party to begin and after greeting more friends, the guests took to the Ashover Suite for the couples first dance. Simon’s brother, usher and one third of their band Witch Tripper played them well into the night. As darkness was approaching, I took the couple outside for their final portrait by the surrounding countryside before leaving them to enjoy their evening together.
Huge Congratulations to Kerry & Simon, I had a simply amazing day with you, your family and friends. Thanks so much for having me as your Peak Edge Hotel wedding photographer!
