It’s always a pleasure to shoot at one of my very favorite venues, a gorgeous Mottram Hall wedding in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. It’s even more of a pleasure to shoot in good weather and with an equally lovely couple, Rebecca & Gregg were that couple.
I spent the morning with Rebecca at her parent’s house, capturing a little of the preparations, the dressing, the lighthearted moments, and a little of the nerves too. Rebecca & Gregg enjoyed a romantic ceremony in the St Andrews suite before making their way to the Garden Room and out onto the patio for their drinks receptions with family and friends.
Relaxed portraits in the Rose Garden
After some family groups, we wandered the lush Rose Gardens of the Hall for some relaxed portraits in the sun. With dinner on the horizon, the couple spent some time with their friends before being welcomed into their wedding breakfast. After a delicious meal and a round of speeches, the couple retired back to the Garden room and relaxed into the evening.
An Evening Party In The St Andrews Suite
Once their evening party was ready, their DJ welcomed the couple onto the floor for their first dance as man and wife before the couple was mobbed by family and friends. It’s safe to say that as long as the DJ was playing, their dance floor was full and the atmosphere was amazing! So a Massive Congratulations to Rebecca & Gregg, it’s been a pleasure to get to know you both and join you on your wedding day. Thanks so much for having me as your photographer!!
