I’m lucky enough to be the recommended Mottram Hall wedding photographer, so I was thrilled when Hannah & Stefan got in touch with me about their wedding celebrations at this fantastic venue. If you are interested in having your wedding at Mottram Hall, you can find my guide to Mottram Hall Wedding Photography here.
I joined Hannah on the morning of the wedding as she got ready at home with her family and bridesmaids. There was a great atmosphere with much laughter, champagne toasts and great banter between everyone. The girls were all soon ready for the short trip over to Mottram Parish Church for the wedding ceremony where Stefan and the guests were waiting.
Mottram Parish Church Wedding Ceremony
The weather was lovely up in the hills around Mottram in Longdendale as I drove to church. I met up with Stefan who was busy greeting family and friends before taking his place at the top of the aisle and wait for Hannah. The bridesmaids made an emotional walk down the aisle before Hannah herself. After a wonderful ceremony filled with loving glances, laughter and much joy, the couple completed the formal part of their day and walked back up the aisle as man and wife. Exiting the church into the sunshine and a flurry of confetti, the couple stopped to hug their family and friends before hopping in the car to Mottram Hall.
Mottram Hall Drinks Reception
Arriving at Mottram Hall, the guests gathered in the Garden Room and out on the patio to enjoy a drinks reception in the sunshine. I took the couple for a quick wander around the gardens of the Hall for some portraits before pausing for a few family group shots before the wedding breakfast.
A Fantastic Evening Party
After the food was finished, everyone enjoyed a round of speeches before wandering the gardens. During this time, I stole the couple away for some more portraits in the setting sun. Once the evening began, the couple were welcomed into their party, cut their cake and took to the dance floor as man and wife. We also had the chance to shoot some final portraits with a gorgeous night sky before leaving the couple to enjoy their evening.
Massive Congratulations to Hannah & Stefan, I hope that you have an awesome honeymoon and thanks so much for having me as your Mottram Hall Wedding Photographer!
