Manchester Hall Wedding Photography with Lizzie & Zac. I first met Lizzie & Zac at the wedding of Rebecca & Ben who got married at Victoria Baths back in 2016. So I was thrilled when they got in touch with me about their Manchester Hall Wedding Photography, a venue that I had heard lots about and was eager to shoot a wedding at. Formerly a Freemason Hall, Manchester Hall was designed in 1929 by architect Percy Scott Worthington.
After a multi-million pound restoration, Manchester Hall now combines traditional structure with contemporary glamour, making it the perfect venue hire for city center weddings. It’s also the perfect venue for winter weddings where the weather can be a little uncertain, with so many features and areas to use inside, you simply don’t need to step outdoors if you don’t want to.
Monton Unitarian Church Wedding Ceremony
After a relaxed morning with Lizzie and her family at the Victoria & Albert Hotel, I raced over the Eccles to meet up with Zac at Monton Unitarian Church, who was greeting the couple’s family and friends as well as eagerly awaiting Lizzie and her bridesmaids. Zac was waiting for her as she walked down the aisle with her dad.
After a ceremony filled with laughter, the couple made their way back up the aisle as man and wife through a flurry of confetti. The couple enjoyed all the congratulatory hugs and kisses from their family and friends before making their way back into central Manchester for the wedding reception.
Manchester Hall Wedding Photography
We arrived back at Manchester Hall where Lizzie & Zac enjoyed their champagne reception in the Goulburn Lodge, they chatted and laughed with their guests reviling within the excitement of the day. We paused for some family formal groups within The Museum Room, a space that is normally reserved for wedding ceremonies but we were lucky enough to have the whole Hall to ourselves. I also took the chance to have a wander with Lizzie & Zac around the Hall and down the spectacularly unique spiral staircase for some portraits before dinner.
Goulburn Suite Wedding Breakfast
The family and friends were soon seated within the festively decorated Goulburn Suite and Lizzie & Zac were welcomed into their wedding breakfast to thunderous applause. They had decided on a travel-themed decor with each table named after a favourite part of the world that they had visited. After a delicious meal, the guests enjoyed a round of speeches before settling in for a relaxed evening before the party began.
The Rush Wedding Band
With evening guests arriving and the couple enjoying more congratulatory hugs and kisses, their wedding band The Rush was soon set up and ready to rock the party. Lizzie & Zac soon cut their amazing wedding cake and took to the dance floor to perform their amazing first dance routine. They were soon joined by family and friends who spent the rest of the night laughing, dancing and having a ball.
So what a fantastic day! Huge congratulations to Lizzie & Zac, I had an amazing day with you, your family and friends, thanks so much for having me with you as your Manchester Hall wedding photographer!
