Holmes Mill Wedding Photography with Grace & Richard. A truly unique wedding venue that didn’t disappoint when it came to a background for their wedding photography. It was my first time there for my own Holmes Mill Wedding and it didn’t disappoint!
I joined Grace and her bridal party for the morning as they got ready for the day ahead in the Spinning Block. They then made the short walk over to the beautifully decorated Cotton Room for the wedding ceremony.
After completing the formal part of their day, they returned to the brasserie in the Spinning Block for their drinks reception. Luckily we dodged the rain to enjoy a confetti walk and some family groups in the courtyard of the hotel.
Their wedding breakfast took place back in the Cotton Room which was expertly decorated with colorful seasonal flowers and a personalized Bowland Brewery Ale.
More images will be added when their finished collection is ready but for now, enjoy their amazing preview!
About Holmes Mill
Based in the heart of Clitheroe, Holmes Mill is a unique celebration of Lancashire food, drink, and entertainment. Featuring a beer hall, hotel, food hall and much more, this former textiles mill is the perfect place to indulge, unwind and explore.
An early 19th Century Cotton Mill rescued from decay and destruction and transformed into the most incredible and wholly unique wedding venue in the North West. The ambitious restoration project has taken over three years to complete but what a restoration it has been. They’ve kept as many of the original features as possible to create a space that wears its bumps and bruises with pride.
The disused complex is now home to the Bowland Brewery, and it’s simply an amazing Beer Hall. There’s a Food Hall focusing on the finest local produce and a fabulous 39-bedroom hotel in the old Spinning Block.
The Cotton Room at Holmes Mill is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and looks stunning set with our reclaimed cinema seating. We can accommodate up to 150 guests for your civil ceremony and 180 guests for your evening reception.
