Saturday was an ace day to shoot a wedding, great weather and light, amazing happy people and a really quite gorgeous location. It was a winner from start to finish and Lauren & Steven had an amazing time with their family and friends.
I started the day with Lauren at her parent’s house, she enjoyed a relaxed morning in the sunshine. The atmosphere was excited but calm, there was laughter, champagne and bacon & sausage sandwiches; a great combination in my opinion. Their church, St Matthews was literally about 60 seconds walk away so I strolled over to meet up with Steven who was greeting all the family and friends who would be watching their wedding ceremony. Lauren arrived soon after in her Beauford ‘Sylvia’ and walked down the aisle to meet a very calm-looking Steven. After their ceremony and completing the formal part of their day, the couple exited the church to enjoy hugs and kisses from their family and a shower of confetti from their friends.
The Wedding Party
After the short journey over to the golf club, Lauren & Steven enjoyed their drinks reception in the lovely afternoon sun on the club balcony. We gathered the family for some formal groups before wandering through the lush grass and trees of the course for some portraits of the couple together. After a delicious meal and a round of speeches, Lauren & Steven enjoyed a evening with their guests, chatting and relaxing in the evening sun. The buzz of the day continued when their evening guests arrived, the evening party began and this lovely couple took to the dance floor as man and wife.
So what an amazing day! Hugh Congratulations to Lauren & Steven, I had an amazing day with you, your family and friends, thanks so much for having me with your as your photographer!
