Dorfold Hall Wedding Photography – Linzi & Dean

Back in September, I was lucky enough to venture towards Nantwich and join Linzi & Dean for their Dorfold Hall wedding photography. I began the day with Linzi, she was surrounded by family and her bridesmaids preparing herself for the day ahead. Everyone was relaxed but there was a great sense of excitement bubbling underneath the calm waiting to get out. The girls prepared themselves for the day ahead, sipped a little champagne and chatted about what was to come.

Dean was waiting for her in the coach house as she walked down the aisle with her dad. After a ceremony filled with laughter, the couple made their way back up the aisle as man and wife through a flurry of confetti. The couple enjoyed all the congratulatory hugs and kisses from their family and friends before relaxing with their guests on the lawn of the hall. We paused for some family groups before wandering through the lush gardens for some portraits of the couple together. The guests then settled down to a delicious wedding breakfast inside the marquee before enjoying a round of speeches.

An Evening Party In The Marquee

After dinner, I wandered the room capturing the relaxed and fun-loving atmosphere before the evening began. The party soon kicked off in the marquee for the evening. The couple enjoyed a whole bunch of hugs and kisses, chatting and laughing with their evening guests. Linzi & Dean soon cut their amazing wedding cake and took to the dance floor to perform their amazing first dance. They were soon joined by family and friends who spent the rest of the night laughing, dancing and having a ball.

So what a fantastic day! Huge congratulations to Linzi & Dean, I had an amazing day with you, your family and friends, thanks so much for having me with you as your Dorfold Hall wedding photographer!

About Dorfold Hall

Dorfold Hall, a Grade I listed house recognized for its outstanding architectural and historic interest, and many of the original 17th-century interiors have been beautifully preserved, including the ornate plaster ceilings and elegant oak paneling. Changes over the years have included a full redesign of the downstairs by architect Samuel Wyatt in 1771, while the addition of an early Victorian wing to the Eastside significantly enlarged the house with over thirty new rooms. At this time, Dorfold had large stables, its own bakery, butchery, and brewery. It even grew pineapples in the extensively heated greenhouses!
