Colshaw Hall Wedding Photography with Suzie & Dom. There’s nothing quite like shooting a wedding at a brand new venue and when I first arrived at Colshaw Hall, I was pretty blown away by the gorgeous countryside setting and the grandeur of the estate.
Suzie, her bridesmaids, and family were relaxing in Irlam Lodge when I arrived. I spent a lovely relaxed morning with them all, shooting all the lovely details of Suzie’s outfit and the buzz of a bride getting ready for the day ahead. On hand was Jodie A Smith MUA to ensure that the girls looked amazing and she’s always a pleasure to work with. I then met up with Dom who was a short jog away at the main Hall, looking calm and collected, I shot a few portraits of him with his groomsmen before heading back to Suzie.
Wedding Ceremony In The Stables
By this time everyone was pretty much ready, the guests were convened and we hopped on the golf buggy for the short drive to The Stables. After a ceremony filled with tears, laughter and a lot of joy, Suzie & Dom made their way up the aisle as man & wife and into the congratulatory arms of their family and friends. The couple then enjoyed a relaxed afternoon of portraits together, family groups and chatting with their friends.
Everyone then sat for dinner and enjoyed a round of speeches in-between each delicious course. Suzie & Dom were then cheered out of their wedding breakfast by (amazing) Toastmaster Ian Brown and spent the very chilled out early evening with family and friends before welcoming their evening guests to the party. Their wedding band Live Lounge was soon ready and everyone was then welcomed into the Peel Suite where Suzie & Dom cut their amazing (Cherry Blossom Bakery) wedding cake and took the floor for their first dance.
Live Lounge Wedding Band
A few hours later, cigars were mentioned so I joined the boys outside for a few styled shots before I stole the couple away for their final shot in the daffodils. So a Huge Congratulations to Suzie & Dom, I hope that you both had an amazing day at Colshaw Hall! Thanks so much for having me with you as your photographer, now on with the preview!!
