Arley Hall Wedding Photography

I first met Jenny years ago while studying for my BA(Hons) in Photography—back then, I worked part-time at Manchester Airport, and Jenny was my line manager. When I launched my wedding photography business, she kindly recommended me to her best friends, Anna & Paul, for their Nunsmere Hall wedding in 2012, where Jenny was a bridesmaid. Not long after, I was delighted when Jenny and Marc asked me to capture their wedding at the stunning Arley Hall, one of Cheshire’s most elegant venues.

Fast forward to Saturday, and I had the joy of spending an incredible day with Jenny, Marc, Anna, Paul, and a few familiar faces from my airport days—this time as their Arley Hall wedding photographer.

Drawing Room Wedding Ceremony

The couple held their ceremony in Arley Hall’s majestic drawing room, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Afterwards, the celebrations moved outside for a drinks reception on the lawn. The weather was the kind that makes Arley Hall wedding photography sing—moody skies, bursts of blue, and warm golden sunshine that bathed the gardens in beautiful evening light.

Portraits In the Gardens

The decor inside the hall was tastefully elegant, with table names inspired by Jack Vettriano oil paintings—subtle, stylish, and perfectly in tune with the grandeur of the venue. Arley Hall is a dream for any wedding photographer, with endless portrait opportunities both inside the hall and throughout the landscaped gardens. We made the most of the setting, exploring everything from the stately rooms to the golden-hour glow across the grounds.

Dinner & Sunset Portraits

Jenny and Marc were the kind of couple who truly savoured every moment of their wedding. Jenny didn’t stop smiling all day, and Marc took it all in with calm confidence. It was such a joy to capture the love and energy between them.
