Abbeywood Estate Wedding Photography with Sarah & Jorge. When I first spoke to Sarah & Jorge about their wedding plans, they mentioned that as Jorge was from Venezuela, there would be some interesting twists on the day. Shooting their Abbeywood Estate Wedding Photography, I got to experience those twists and spend the day with a really amazing bunch of people!
Sarah spent the morning at a family home in Bowden near Altrincham, she was surrounded by family and her bridal party, getting ready and enjoying all the excitement of someone about the have one of the greatest days of their lives. She was lucky to have her mum on hand who styled her hair and made her stunning wedding flowers. The team from Absolutely Flawless was on hand to prepare the makeup and make sure that everyone looked amazing.
Catholic Wedding Ceremony At St Vincents Church In Altrincham
Racing ahead of the bridal party, I met up with Jorge who was greeting family and friends at St Vincents Church In Altrincham. The ceremony began with Sarah walking down the aisle with her dad, their catholic ceremony followed and the couple completed the formal part of their wedding day. They walked back up the aisle as man and wife, outside into their amazing confetti and then were surrounded by family and friends for hugs of congratulations.
An Afternoon In The Sunshine At The Abbeywood Estate
The sun was shining as we made the journey over to Delamere and into the Abbeywood Estate. As guests were still arriving, I took the chance to wander around the grounds with the couple for some portraits. With 27 acres of mature and newly planted woodland, there are so many spectacular areas for photos of the couple together. We arrived back at the party as everyone was gathered and the couple enjoyed chatting with their guests before being called in for dinner.

The Glasshouse was beautifully decorated with pastel florals, vintage-inspired centerpieces, and stationery. The wedding favors presented to guests were a small personalized bottle of Venezuelan rum for the men and a delicious bar of Rio Caribe Venezuelan chocolate from Willies Cacao for the ladies. After a delicious meal and a round of speeches, the guests retired to explore the gardens and play lawn games in the setting sunshine before the evening party began.
The Wrecks Wedding Band And Fireworks In The Rain
With The Glasshouse turned around for the evening party, the dancefloor in place and the wedding band full sound checked, the evening’s festivities could begin! After greeting more guests, Sarh & Jorge cut their amazing wedding cake and took to the floor for their first dance. Their family and friends jumped in soon after and the dancefloor was full for pretty much all of the night. The couple had laid on a surprise fireworks display for their guests and despite the pouring summer rain, everyone made their way outside and enjoyed a spectacular end to the night.
