A Wedding At Mottram Hall with Cheryl & Lee. On Saturday I spent an amazing day with an awesome couple at one of my favourite wedding venues, the stunning Mottram Hall. I was also joined by videographer supremo Nick Malone from Crystal Logic who was filming the day alongside me.
I began the morning with Cheryl who was at Mottram Hall, relaxing and enjoying some time with her bridesmaids before preparing herself for the day ahead. I took some time to shoot all the lovely details of what she would be wearing before stepping back and watching what was going on.
I then spent some time with Lee who was also at the hotel in the company of his groomsmen. Once the time had come, Cheryl was helped into her outfit by her girls and jumped into her VW Camper Van for the short journey to St Peters Church in Prestbury Village.

I raced ahead to meet up with Lee who arrived with his groomsmen to greet the couple’s family and friends. As everyone had gathered inside, Cheryl soon arrived and was walked down the aisle by her very proud dad to meet Lee.
Their ceremony was interspersed with readings, hymns, moments of laughter and heartfelt glances between the couple. Once the formal part of their day was complete, the couple exited the church to a flurry of confetti and congratulatory hugs before jumping back into the VW Camper.
As we headed into the gorgeous Cheshire countryside, the sun was streaming through the clouds and we arrived ready for an awesome afternoon at Mottram. I was there to greet the couple as they arrived and whilst their guests were arriving, we wandered the lush gardens for some portraits in the sunshine.
Once everyone had arrived and enjoyed the drinks reception, we paused for some family groups in the gardens before dinner. As everyone was convened in the gorgeously decorated St Andrews Suite, the couple were welcomed into their wedding breakfast to enjoy good company and a delicious meal.

After the food was finished, everyone enjoyed a round of speeches before wandering the gardens. During this time, I stole the couple away for some more portraits in the setting sun. Once the evening began, the couple were welcomed into their party, cut their cake and took to the dance floor as man and wife. We also had the chance to shoot some final portraits with a gorgeous night sky before leaving the couple to enjoy their evening.
Massive Congratulations to Cheryl & Lee, I hope that you have an awesome honeymoon and thanks so much for having me as your photographer! View their amazing preview video below!
