How Their Day Unfolded
Cranage Hall Wedding Photography – A Day Full of Colour, Love & Travel Memories
There’s something magical about an August wedding at Cranage Hall (part of De Vere’s Cranage Estate) – warm sunshine, lush gardens, elegant interiors, beautiful portraits, and a story you’ll carry with you forever. I had the honour of documenting Laura & Ryan’s day, and it was moments like these that made me fall more in love with Cranage Hall Wedding Photography every time.

Getting Ready: Anticipation & Joy
Laura got ready with her bridesmaids at her family home in Sandbach. The morning was full of sparkling laughter, flutter of dresses, make-up brushes, and that electric feeling of anticipation. Nearby, Ryan prepared at his best man’s house, dressed sharply and excited. The contrast between quiet prep moments and excited energy made for perfect material for Cranage Hall Wedding Photography — the kind of images that tell more than just what happened, but how it felt.

Ceremony at St Leonard’s Church, Warmingham
Laura & Ryan said their vows at St Leonard’s Church in Warmingham—a beautiful historic church that set the tone for sincerity and tradition. It’s always wonderful to combine a church ceremony with portraits and speeches later at Cranage Hall. After the touching ceremony, laughter, tears and joy mingled, which translated superbly into those candid moments I love to catch—those are what make Cranage Hall Weddings feel real and full of heart.

Reception at Cranage Hall: The Venue & Details
With the ceremony done, the party moved to Cranage Hall (De Vere Cranage Estate) for the reception. Cranage Hall is set in the Cheshire countryside, surrounded by landscaped gardens, beautiful architecture, and interiors that marry historic charm and elegant style. It’s a Grade II listed house with multiple function suites, grounds with water features and lawns, and a wedding team that helps bring couples’ visions to life. The venue has 152 bedrooms, making it ideal for guests staying over and enjoying the full weekend experience. All this makes it a dream location for Cranage Hall Wedding Photography so many spaces, varied light, wide lawns and loveliness around every corner.

Wedding Breakfast Theme: Holidays They’ve Loved
For the wedding breakfast, Laura & Ryan chose a theme based on holiday destinations they’ve enjoyed together. Every table was decorated with crystals, colourful flower bowls, and little nods to trips and memories. Maybe a small decoration from a beach holiday, or a favourite destination photo somewhere. That personal touch brings life to the meal and gives the photographer creative opportunities—flowers, table décor, lighting, guest reactions. It’s exactly what helps turn a wedding at Cranage Hall into a visual story.

Evening & Entertainment
After the wedding breakfast, the night celebrations kicked off. The evening entertainment was by a live band, and guests danced, laughed, and cut the cake. I captured moments like first dance, cake cutting, speeches – all framed by the architecture and warmth of Cranage Hall. These moments are core to Cranage Hall Wedding Photography they tell the story of joy, release, and connection.
