What Is Behind The Scenes Video?

Behind The Scenes Wedding Video involves capturing candid, dynamic moments from your wedding using the incredible capabilities of today’s smartphones.

Unlike traditional photography or videography, this service provides you with social-media-ready content within 48 hours of your wedding. Think Instagram reels, behind-the-scenes clips, and heartfelt snippets that showcase your day from a fresh perspective.

As your photographer, I focus on capturing these moments creatively while still blending seamlessly into your day.

How Does It Work?

As I’m photographing your wedding day, I have my iPhone mounted on top of my camera. It records informal clips, anything from 30 seconds to a minute long, whilst I am also capturing the moment in a set of photographs. I do this throughout the day and evening, capturing your wedding moments from my unique photographer’s perspective.

What Do You Capture?

Morning Preparations – The nervous moments, laughter, details, and the moments of getting ready before your ceremony.

Venue Details – I capture details of your venue, adding to the story of the day. I also use the drone to gain a unique perspective.

The Ceremony – Your walks up the aisle, vows, ring exchange, first kiss, aisle exit, confetti (one of the best videos!), and all the moments in between.

The Drinks Reception – All the hugs, kisses, and the excited conversations of congratulations.

Portraits – Moments of you and your partner together in the surroundings of your venue.

Wedding Breakfast – I capture all the details of your wedding decor and dining room.

Speeches – I record your speeches in full, unless you book a seperate videographer.

Mingling – Complementing my documentary photography style, I blend in with your guests and capture more moments of the day and conversations.

First Dance & Party – I capture your cake cut, first dance and party moments. You can usually find me in the middle of the dance floor!

How Good Is The Quality?

I film on an iPhone 17 Pro in 4K resolution. The quality of the footage is excellent, even in the low light of an evening dancefloor.

iPhone video technology has come a long way, with some Hollywood films (28 Years Later) filmed on iPhones.

What Do We Receive & How?

You can expect to receive between 100 – 200 video clips. It purely depends on the events of the day.

Within 48 hours of the wedding, all the clips are uploaded to Dropbox, and you are sent a link to view & download for your own use.

What Can We Do With The Clips?

You are free to download & share the clips with your family and friends and make your own social media reels if you like.

Can You Edit A Highlight Reel?

Yes, I can put together a highlight reel of your wedding day using all the clips that I have captured. This is then something you can keep & share with your family and friends.
