Low Wood Bay Wedding Photography. We’re really lucky up here in the North of England, only an hour or so away from where I live is the Lake District, one of the largest national parks in UK. In the south east corner of the Lakes is Lake Windermere, the largest natural lake in England and the site of many water speed boating records. On the north east shore lies Low Wood Bay Hotel & Resort a gorgeous venue where Charlotte & Rob had decided to celebrate their wedding.
Morning Preparations At Low Wood Bay
The couple were both at the hotel, getting ready and preparing themselves for the day ahead. I spent a little time with them both before everyone gathered in the Gallery Lounge for the ceremony.
Gallery Lounge Wedding Ceremony
The Gallery Lounge is a fantastic space for your civil ceremony. A long aisle, sweeping views of Lake Windermere, and chandeliers that provide atmospheric decor.
Drinks On The Lawn
After the formal part of their day, Charlotte & Rob enjoyed their drinks reception on the hotel lawn, receiving hugs and kisses from their adoring guests.
Portraits On The Jetty
We ventured over to the hotel marina for some family groups and made use of the long jetty for some portraits of the couple.
A Windermere Restaurant Wedding Breakfast
Dinner was soon announced, and the guests gathered in the beautifully decorated Windermere Restaurant to welcome the couple into their wedding breakfast. After a delicious meal and a round of speeches, the wedding party made their way outside for their boat trip around the lake.
Lake Windermere Boat Trip
Boarding ‘Miss Lakeland’, we were treated to an hour-long journey to take in some stunning views of the local scenery. We took some time on the boat for some portraits before the couple enjoyed the company of their guests. Back on dry land, the couple was welcomed with a confetti line before making their way back to the hotel for their evening party.
The Evening Party
Returning to the hotel for their evening party, Charlotte & Rob soon cut their amazing wedding cake and took to the dance floor to perform their first dance. They were soon joined by family and friends who spent the rest of the night laughing, dancing and having a ball.
